The festival of Gurupurnima is fast approaching, falling on July 2 this year. On Gurupurnima, the Gurutattva (unmanifest Guru principle, that is, the teaching principle of God) is a thousand times more active than on any other day of the year. Hence, this day presents us with an invaluable opportunity to pay gratitude to the Guru, and grow spiritually through wholehearted celebration.
The Sanatan organization has published in-depth, lucid articles on how to celebrate Gurupurnima to derive maximum benefit, and acquire the Guru’s grace. The articles explain the significance of this day, of the Guru, the Guru-disciple lineage and the Path of Guru’s Grace (Gurukrupayoga) in this day and age. They also feature seekers’ first hand spiritual experiences with a wholehearted celebration, stories and quizzes to impress the importance of Gurupurnima upon children, as well as interesting subtle experiments proving spiritual facts about the Guru. We invite you to visit these articles at our website (www.Sanatan.org) to help in having/maximize the benefits of having a spiritually fulfilling celebration. Timings and venues of Sanatan organization’s celebrations and spiritual activities worldwide are also provided for those interested in participating.
The Sanatan organization has been carrying out campaigns to create awareness about the spiritually correct way of celebrating various festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratra for the past few years. We also conduct free lectures on the science behind such celebrations and arrange bookstalls or exhibitions of our publications on the science and practice of Spirituality, deities and rituals. As a part of our effort to spread the science of Spirituality, we provide free spiritual periodicals online in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Kannada. We have various centers around the world in India, US, UK, UAE, Australia, Botswana, etc. In case you would like us to hold lectures, discourses or want our help in preparing your festival celebrations at your local venues, or if you would like to link our campaign site directly to your web site, do let us know.
Any feedback from you is most welcome and can be sent to sanatan@sanatan.org.
It is our sincere hope that these articles help you enjoy a spiritually nourishing celebration of Gurupurnima and pray to the Guru for His grace on our spiritual journeys always.
Yours faithfully, Mrs. Shilpa Kudtarkar Sanatan Society for Scientific Spirituality www.Sanatan.org
