WHY SLANDER OTHER RELIGIONS ?

There is a common misconception that Sikhism is a
combination of Islam and Hinduism. This is not true,
Sikhism is not a combination of Islam and Hinduism and
neither does it drive any beliefs from either
religion.

Sikhism is an individualistic religion created by God
through Sikh Gurus. For more information, please read

Sikhism has its own distinctive and individualistic
beliefs. Some of the beliefs might be similar with
other religions but this does not make Sikhism a
combination of other religions.

What I don’t understand is that why some people say
wrong stuff about Sikhism? What do they achieve by
slandering other religions? This isn’t going to change

Misunderstanding about Why Slander other Religions

I think I shouldn’t have used the word slander. Lots
of people are taking a wrong meaning out of it. What I
want to say is that there are some websites that
display wrong information about Sikhism. I don’t know
if the webmaster is doing it just because he does not
know Sikhism very well or intentionally. I am writing
this mail so that my friends in this group don’t make
the same mistake. Just want to let you know that
Sikhism is a direct revelation from God. How? Please

Ji is in direct communion with God and only narrates
the word of God to us.

Sikhism is pure love towards God. Sikhs respect other
religions. Sikh have also helped Hindus in many ways
as Hindus have helped Sikhs.

Guru Teg Bahadur Ji gave up his life in order to save
Hindu Priests. Aurengzeb was converting Hindus to
Islam by force. Guru Ji raised his voice against such
injustice. Guru Ji was beheaded. Then Guru Gobind
Singh Ji fought with Aurengzeb in many battles in
order to eliminate injustice.

Sikhism promotes equality for all human races and
shows a path to be One with God. Sikhs in no way
disrespect anyone because all are the creation of God.
One light is within all and we bleed the same color,
don't we?

No hard feeling for anyone and I am sorry if I have
upset anyone.
