7000 die every day of hunger in India. Read on to make a difference, love, Parag.
hi all, VISIT and CLICK : Thats all...You have helped an indian do help if you can.It doesnt take a long time and it is not one of those stupid chain letters where u hv to fwd to atleast _ ppl else somethin befalls u. Have a heart and pass this on to feed a fellow indian who doesnt even have the pleasure of eating one meal a day while we bask around with 3 meals a day and ask for more......... Lt. Nawang Kapadia was killed while fighting with militants at Kupwara in Kashmir on 11th November, 2000. On 15th December this year, in honour of Kapadia's birthday, his friend Vikas Sutaria launched a website to continue their childhood dream of making a difference. The web site is titled www.bhookh.com and serves the cause of the poor and hungry Indians.
" Every time you click on the Free Food button on the site, a cup of rice or wheat, depending on the staple diet of the people, is donated to a hungry individual." The web site is free for visitors and for every click, the advertisers sponsoring will pay for the food. This is very simple and has been very effective in other parts of the world.
So, go on the site and click on the Free Food button. You could also forward this e-mail to as many people you think would be interested. This is, however, entirely optional and nothing is compulsory. You do not have to forward it to at least _ people. Nothing bad will happen to you if you don't forward or click on the site. It is entirely left to your discretion. If the human touch strikes a cord within you, do reach out to contribute your mite towards feeding a hungry person; after all we, who get 3 meals (or more) per day, will never know what it is to be hungry and how much it means to a hungry person to be fed.
