Regarding negative thought patterns such as anger: blowingthe angry thought out with a double breath and replacingit with a mantra (on the inhale) can be very effective.When we realize that we have the ability to consciouslychoose our thoughts, we can build the habit of replacingdefeating thought patterns with uplifting thought patterns.Also, choosing nourishment carefully, exercising, andmaintaining a disciplined schedule until right habits arefirmly established help us to build our will power, whichenables us to choose our thoughts rather than be subjectedto unpredictable emotions.
