Help wanted for BBC Asian Network Documentary

Hello there,

I work for a production company, Fifty Nine Ltd, based in Edinburgh. We have been commissioned by the BBC Asian Network to produce a short radio documentary about the lifestyles of young people from the British-Asian community in Glasgow. Specifically: how (and with whom) they choose to spend their leisure time; how their chosen lifestyle compare with the 'mainstream' white majority; and also how it compares with what their parents wish for them.

The bulk of the documentary will be the opinions and stories of young people. The GUHS seems like a good place to get in touch with young people who would be willing to give us a few minutes of their time for an interview.

Does the GUHS have regular social occasions, where we could perhaps come and give a little more information about the project? If so, our interviewer Dolly Agrawal (who is a former Glasgow University student) could come and meet those who were interested, and hear their stories and opinions.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Rob
Producer
