'How Can Young People Contribute to Scotland's Future?'
The first Scottish Interfaith Youth Conference At St Mungo Museum of Religious life and Art
Organized by The Scottish Interfaith Council and young people of faith
Why have an inter faith youth conference?
The world is currently torn by strife, war and conflict. This saddens the youth of Scotland and no doubt youth throughout the world. It is a longing in the hearts of the young people who helped organize this first inter faith youth conference in Scotland to contribute in some small way to local, national and global peace. Their hope is that inter faith conferences will take place regularly in Scotland and that the ethos of inter faith, which is to help facilitate dialogue and understanding between 'faith traditions' will help to create the sort of world they want to live in. We hope that you will be able to join the many youth from diverse backgrounds in a conference that offers a great day of information sharing, dialogue and entertainment.
