BREATH WATER SOUND WORKSHOP with the ART OF LIVING FOUNDATION in ABERDEENFriday 10th until Sunday 12th October from 19:30 until 21:30 each day 89 Hutchion Street (off George Street), Aberdeen The course is offered on a donation basisArt of Living Foundation is offering The "Breath, Water, Sound Workshop" in Aberdeen. Breath Water and Sound course is a dynamic, fast paced stress elimination program that teaches simple but powerful breathing, meditations and relaxation techniques.Due to the strain we experience in our lives, the natural rhythms of our body, mind and spirit are often out of harmony. The Breath is the most important source of energy available to us. We are not aware of our breath - indeed we usually use some 35% of our lung capacity. However we can eliminate over 80% of physical and emotional toxins through the breath. Skilful use of breath can effortlessly transform our mental and emotional states and significantly improve the overall quality of our lives. Over time we accumulate stress, which is stored as toxins in our body; this then manifests as negative emotions in the mind and can lead to physical distress. The Art of Living Foundation is Non Profit Organisation dedicated to serving the society by strengthening the individual. We do this by offering programs that eliminate stress, create a sense of belonging, restore human values, and encourage people from all backgrounds, religions and cultural traditions to come together in celebration and service. The Foundation works in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations and is also affiliated to the World Health Organisation, participating in a variety of committees and activities relating to health and conflict resolution. The Foundation offers a wide range of educational and humanitarian service projects in over 140 countries worldwideFor more info contact Dushyant at dushyant_savadia@yahoo.com

[HinduTRAC] Singapore TRAC & Diwali (all)

Hi all loved ones . . .

Today we have 2 main 'news' (1) Singapore Update and (2) Diwali Update

SINGAPORE UPDATE
----------------
Life is so amazing . . .  just imagine this . . .

We all know the G.I.F.T. project in India, feeding the orphanage for
a year half etc etc etc. Well, Sharm in Singapore, wanted to do the
same, she started getting stuff for the kids and all . . . we advised
her not to go through other organisations but HinduTRAC or just
through a temple . . .  - less red-tape and does not clash with any
other organisational rules. She said no HinduTRAC yet in Singapore .
. . .

In the discussion, it suddenly came out - why not start HinduTRAC or
go through the Sri Sanpaga Vinayagar temple (Eliya's dad very
involved in that one!) and that Eliya from Glasgow can make the
contact . . .  This way, reaching out to more people and outcome will
be better. This was said the day we were driving to Glasgow with if
I'm not mistaken, Gopi and Ramona in the car . . . Sharm in Singapore
heard this and just sat and contemplated on it . . . .  as she does
with a million things on her plate,  but of which all gets done!!

Then today . . . she heard from her Service Wing co-ordinator at her
Sai Centre bhajans, who also is active in that temple, that Suresh
Govind was around and launched HinduTRAC there (or going to) at the
Sri Sempaga Vinayagar Temple . . . .  how is that! So, here we go . .
. .  the whole world as one . . . and the Lord behind it all.

So, there it goes on . . . a contact at a one-worldly level . .  .
let us all join in here and work as one, progress as one, one world,
one race of humanity and one journey of collective tranformation.

DIWALI NOTICE
-------------
All the Diwali and Deepavali greetings going on, I might as well join
in . . .  so, Happy Deepavali to all!!!

On this day when Krishna killed Narakasuran, the Asura (demon) within
Nara (man), let us all take the opportunity to also kill the demons
within us, the main demon of faithlessness that is enshrined inside
every one of us!!!

Let us in this festival of Lights, Light our Light Faith and dispell
the Darkness of Faithlessness. Let us just have faith in the Divine,
to achieve total unity and accelerate our journey towards Him. All we
need now is faith, faith and confidence, faith in saying that what
God has given us is the best for us for now, faith in being contended
with what we have and always have had, also faith in all our
abilities and in-abilities - all as gifts of the Divine and faith
that whatever we do, will be always right and perfect. This we pray
for all.

On this note, a Very Happy Deepavali to you all . . . !

"Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavanthu"

Love and in Service of the Lord - as Always,
Vinesh

Absolute Basic Hinduism
-----------------------

Being born as Hindus, how much do we know and understand our own
Religion? Are we proud to be Hindus? or do we shy away when asked any
questions about Hinduism because we do not understand or is Hinduism
just too deep for our modern minds?

The purpose of this Absolute Basic Hinduism initiative is to empower
the youth with the simplest understandings of Hinduism, how it
relates to modern life and living and it's relevance to self and
society and also it's relationships with other great religions of the
world.

Absolute Basic Hinduism will introduce Hinduism in a FUN WAY. It has
been designed with modern day youth in mind. The sessions will be in
the form of interactive discussions and workshops. There will be
loads of question and answer opportunities at every session to clear
any doubts should they rise.

The sessions are planned on a fortnightly schedule starting on 11th
Feb 2003 in Aberdeen. Sessions are planned to run concurrently in
Glasgow and Dundee. Anyone from any other faith are also most welcome
to participate and contribute in this initiative.

What to look forward in these sessions?
---------------------------------------

Amongst the topics that will be discussed in these sessions are Hindu
Origins, Tradition and Culture, Karma, Re-incarnation, Yogas, Gunas,
PanchaKoshas, Birth and Death, Marriages and Divorces, Angels and
Spirits, Devas and Demons, Gods and Goddesses and the ultimate
Brahman!

We will also look at Hindu Theory Creation & Destruction, Heaven and
Hell and Life after Death and in other dimensions! At ground levels
we will look into God symbolisms, mantras, japas and meditation.

Apart from this, if you feel there's any particular topics of
interest related to Hinduism, please do let us know and we will
incorporate these in our sessions because these sessions are for you!

Do not miss this opportunity. Be a part of this exciting initiative
and share your knowledge with us.

Harmonic Concordance! - Lunar Eclipse!

Dear ALL,

A very warm greeting to all!

Something of utmost importance but just a small humble personal
sharing for all, please read or delete as you wish.

Harmonic Concordance
--------------------
This weekend, we will ALL be experiencing something very very big,
termed as the Harmonic Concordance. As mentioned by a few
individuals, this will be a most significant time in 6000 years, from
3000BC to 3000AD and the effects of now will last for centuries . .
The start of a time of Intuitive Understanding!

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
------------------
Wheather we believe or not, fire is hot, we can choose to not believe
and touch it, we will still have the effect of the heat. Like this,
planetary alignments have a major effect on us. This is what all
atrology, numeroly and all say! In the Hindu contexts, the
Navagraghas.

At the time of the Total Lunar Eclipse, 8th-9thNov2003 (Saturday
Sunday), a multidimentional Mandala of Sacred Geometry will be formed
in the heavens. This is called the Grand Sextile, forming a Sacred
Geometry of the Star of David, consisting of the Sun, Monn, Jupiter,
Mars, Saturn and Chiron!  The source of this symbol traces back to
Hinduism, Egypt, Greek and etc etc etc.

Significance?
-------------
This will mark the end of the current and final "Pachakuti" (a period
of clensing where everything is turned upside down!). It is said that
a tear, or hole in the fabric of time will appear and that those who
have prepared for it will be able to walk through itand into their
luminuos bodies!

It is an Ascension of Mother Earth itself, where the whole
inhabitance are Ascended to a higher Dimension. We can conceive how
by feeling to live as an Ascended Master in an Ascended World!

What is Ascension?
------------------
Basically a change of frwquency and change in focus of consciousness.
Because the energy you are has frequency, you can change it! That's
all ascension is!

What does this mean?
--------------------
This means that you will become a next dimensional being, working
with much higher frequencies, where intuition prevails! Whatever we
visualise, will happen. Everything we think or desire will instantly
manifest, love or fear! our INTENTION then will be of utmost
importance! It will be the Shakthi Yoga of Manifestation!

Global Shift of Consciousness
-----------------------------
There will be a global shift of consciousness, into the I AM - ALL
THAT IS . . .  For those who are more familiar with the Sanskrit
terms, it's basically the highest concept of Adwaitha. . . resonating
with the MahaVakyas of Pragnyanam Brahman, Ayam Athma Brahman, Tat
Twai Asi and Aham Brahmasmi!  -  This will be start to be realised!

As said, during this rare moment, the Cosmic I AM will flood the
Earth with unprecedented frequencies of Divine Consciousness and lift
every man, woman and child a quantum leap into the rememberance of
the Oneness of ALL life!

When before and again?
----------------------
A silimar shift happend in 1987 and next in 2012, but not as this
scale, so why wait? Some of us may go throught it intuitively and
some even knowing of this, may miss it completely. Though time is a
illusion, this Ascension is happening now!

When exactly?
-------------
It's happening at the time of the lunar eclipse . . .

As we know, in a Lunar eclipse, the moon goes into a dimmer phase,
Penumbra, then the Total Eclipse starts and then Penumbra again and
then free . .

The timings (all GMT or UT) are as follows:-
-------------------------------------------
Saturday 8th November 2003
10:15pm - Moon into Penumbra (gets dimmer)
11.32pm - Moon into Umbra (Eclipse - starts)

Sunday 9th November 2003
1.06am - 1.30am - TOTAL ECLIPSE of the MOON - MOON in total shadow of
Earth - due to the light of the Earth, some might see the moon as a
dark red colour!
3.04am - Moon into Penumbra again
4.21am - Total end of Eclipse  . . .

The Height of this Grand Sextile and of Cosmic Sacred Geometri is at
1.20am sharp, the centre time of the Total Eclipse.

More Details!
-------------
All will be Ascending in this time, including our recalcitrant
brothers and sisters and it is prescribed that the best we can do it
to pray for all AS ONE! We know that the strenght or speed of a group
is governed by the weakest or slowest one. As such, We are all ONE
and let's pray fro all as one!

Solar Observations - Aurora - Northern Lights
---------------------------------------------
Everytime something big happens on Earth, the scientists find an
abnormal solar activity. Such is the case now. Scientists have found
that the Sun now Looks like the Egyption's Sun Gos, Ra's Headdress!!

There is also a lof of magnetic activity at the moment. New Scientist
(November) mentioned that the sun now is behaving very different from
what we know it to be, it is as though it is throwing a tantrum. Some
of us may have noticed that we culd see the Nothern Lights last week,
Wednesday and Thursaday and from what Mills Observatory in Dundee
say, we might see it again in 2 weeks time, so watch out . . . this
Light have been seen as far South as Florida and Paris!

How long this effect?
---------------------
Nov 9th Sunday 1.20am - Height of activity of cause, centered around
the Eclipse

Nov 5th - 11th - Very High Energy . . .

Leads right up to 23rd November!!

See the conincidence for all Sai People, from Global Akhand Day to
Swami's Birthday . . . .

Solar Eclipse, 23rd Novemnber 2003, Partial Eclipse will be seen by
us if we are penguins wearing Glasses in Antartica, unfortunately not
here in UK, but effects are everywhere!

WHAT TO DO????
--------------
As suggested, the best for us all to do is . .  :-

Sit QUIETLY with a PURE HEART and PURE INTEND - Basically Meditate .
. . in whatever form!

The Ideals! - Prayer Request!
-----------------------------
In view of the coming levels of "I AM" consciousness
We can unfold our prayers into:-

(1) The activation of Unity Consciousness: Experience being One with
ALL Creation. We are One!

(2) The Ascension of Mother Earth: Visualise Earth expanding into a
higher state of awareness, in which she is able to create a
harmonious ecological balance that benefits her well-being and that
of all of her children!

(3) The Self Realisation of ALL humanity: that each of us, in this
moment and beyond, realises our inborn divinity and that we live as
the Godlings we are!

What now?
---------
Please share this will all your friends and family whom you know will
love to be a part of this. If anyone interested for more information
on these stuff, please email me and I'll keep you informed.

Load of Information on the Web! Just do a search for 'Harmonic
Concordance' and you will be amased!

There is only One Destination, but many Paths . . enjoy it!

Any further questions, please call Vinesh - 07977-099765 (o2) or

In Service of the Lord - Always,

Hello All,

Devan has taken this wonderful initiative and will be nice is anyone interested contacts him and joins in. Spiritual Transformation guaranteed! :) It'll be wonderful if more people head initiatives like this which are being done by Devan and Varun!

Love & in Service of the Lord,
Vinesh

Dear friends,

As part of the GUHS (Glasgow University Hindu Society) continued service of spiritual transformation, it is our pleasure to announce that we are having a trip to Culdees, Aberfeldy for Christmas ala New Year.

We will be leaving on the 28th and be back on the 30/31st. However, if you wish to stay longer that will not be a problem.

Culdees is a wonderful farm on the Highlands of Scotland, where determined and passionate people are in the midst of creating a comunity where all are loved and love.

The GUHS Team will be there to do our bit of SEWA to make this comunity more of a reality.

Come and share this experience that money can never buy!

All welcome!

Hari Om,
GUHS Team

PS. Those of you who are interested please call Devan 07745108984 or get in touch with any committee member. Money should not be an obstacle for those who wish to attend.

Cheers.

PS2. For those of you who are interested but cannot leave on the 28th, please contact me anyway.

GIFT - Iran earthquake relief?

Dear All,

Been talking to Sai Giridhar and he's brought to attention that perhaps we can
resurrect GIFT for a service of permanent sustainable benefit to IRAN, after
the very recent earthquake?

Please all think about this and keep in touch via email or phone to Sai 07939-
516966 or me +6-012-9322402.

From previous situations, there should be loads of organisations sending food
and clothes. BUT there normally will not be enough manpower there to set up
stuff over there, i.e. a temporary shelter - anyone fancy a holiday? again?

We can a GIFT collection at ASDA(s) and channel the funds to anyone who are
willing to be there to set the structure up. Perhaps some Malaysian(?) will be
doing it like they've always done i.e. for India and Korea and we can join with
them, not only with funds but food and clothing (PERSONALLY DELIVERED) . . .

Sai seems to have a list of stuff needed but unable to see it as yet. Perhaps
he can forward it and we can work towards filling it but before that, a talk
with ANY group or individual (David Crossweller?) already willing to take stuff
personally there ./ . .

These are basic thoughts. . . anyone, please feel free to add to this.

By the way, we are in Malaysia now and it's really way too hot ... but
everything else is just so wonderful. For all those coming here on 2nd January,
please please call and we can all meet up for a day in KL - Lets do something
constructive man!!!! :) You may contact me or Chandran - 016-7314298

I guess that's all for now. More catching up later!

Love & in Service of the Lord as always!
